Corporate governance

Corporate governance issues are critically important to insurance companies and just as important to the people and enterprises who rely on insurance for their security.

For insurers, this means rules that are flexible and proportionate enough to work for a wide range of enterprises and products and that reflect the unique business model of the insurance industry.

GFIA develops positions relating to the regulation and supervision of corporate governance and communicates them to regulators, governments and other stakeholders.
