GFIA publishes 2021-2022 Annual Report

GFIA’s new Annual Report sets out the global insurance federation’s activities on a wide range of topics. These include: a major new survey on diversity, equity and financial inclusion; developing principles for the use of innovative technologies by the sector’s supervisors; and efforts to promote cross-border (re)insurance and remove barriers to (re)insurance trade.


The Report also details the input that GFIA has provided to international bodies such as the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, the Financial Stability Board, the OECD and the International Sustainability Standards Board on topics as varied as operational resilience, tax rules, corporate governance, sustainability reporting and resolution funding.

  • Jonathan Dixon, secretary general of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors
  • Yoshihiro Kawai, chair of the OECD Insurance and Private Pensions Committee
  • Susan Neely, president and CEO of the American Council of Life Insurers
